A 38-year-old man was charged on Monday with intending to carry out a terrorist attack.Mr Hassan Mohammad Sabri Al Tabbakh, from Brimingham, is accused of compiling a document with instruction on how to make a bomb and stockpile chemicals for such a device. The court had heard that Mr Tabbakh had been arrested near his home on Brimingham last Tuesday Act 2006.

Pilgrims die in bridge collapse

At least 11 people died and hundereds on a religous pilgrimage were missing after an overcrowded bridge collapsed in western Nepal yesterday.
