This Old Chair-On Family

Spring is here and mom wanted john to help for their annual spring cleaning. John agreed reluctantly,john's mum pointed to Pop-Pop(their grand father) chair and said that she would take it to the curb and the garbage truck is picking it up on their block. Pop-Pop chair was unsdightly, it was faded and worn and in some places even torn. As they attempted to move the chair,Pop-Pop worked his way through the door and blocked their way. Pop-Pop protested and said that they could not take his chair away. John,mums give up when they argued.John ask why wont Pop-Pop get rid of that chair. He said that he sat in this chair, with john's grandma when he marry herand the night when john father was born, he held the tiny baby when he was sitting on that chair. He said that this chair brought him many wonderful memory. John understand that the chair was like a friend to Pop-Pop and she told mum the story.Mum understand it and did not threw the chair away.

I Flushed It-ON Family

Pier's family had just gotten a little black dog was was named one eye.Being the youngest in the family has had it advanatges of course, but being the youngest also with with a fair share of trouble. Pier was often told what I couldn't do and why. Pier coudn't wait to show them that he could do things by himself. He wanted to show them what a little kid could do and decided to give the dog a Bath. He looked at the sink and thought it was too small, and decided the perfect place for a dog bath'the toliet! he took his sister shampoo and poured it into the toliet, then he put the dog in. He then pull them the lever, but the sound of the toliet make the dog crazy. He tried to escape but the toiliet was too slippery. He did not wnat to hurt the dog and so she went to look for her mom. Her mom knew what was going on and started laughing. His mum knew that he wnated to declare his indepence.Flushing the dog down the toliet bow , might not sound like a declaration of independence but for a six year- old, it was his best shot.

Forever Garett-on family

Garett had been in mia's family for a month, mia was only five and he was eight.Garett was adopted. Both Garett and mia love sport and they are good at soccer. When Garett was in high school, during one of the game he was tackled and had a hard time getting back.Garett had several large bruises on his back and they were not normal. When mia's parent took Garett for a check up he was diagnosed with aplastic anemia a diseases that when a person bone marrow is destroyed or not bale to function properly. People with this disease can bleed to death from internal hemorrhaging. The doctor told Garett that he could not play sports anymore. THEN, to the amazement he recovered, and the doctor aloowed him to play again. Several years later he had a relapse, and he spent those years fighting to live. In February 1997, the doctors ateempted a bone marrow transplant on Garett and was sucessful,but Garett had many complicaton . Garett died at the age of 24. Garett was one of the best atheletes that mia ever know, Garett was also her hero, her friend, her inspiration and her brother...forever.
