In Every Thought

Lesile grandfather was the most incredible person in the world. He was the only person who has Lesile respect and he treated her with respect too. Sadly in setempber, they discovered that Lesile's grandftaher had cancer, the agonizing six months of his sickness were long and cruel. Soon her grandfather died. His death told lesile many lesson, but the one so harshly instilled in her is that no one, even someone as great as him, is invincible.

Life is Short

Scott and Gabe had been snowbaording all morning. Scott was too hungry to take another run, so he decided to eat something at the lodge. Scott finished his lunch and he headed back out. On the lift he saw a big crowd, he was curious and went to check what had happen. Suddenly he saw gabe motionless, one of Gabe friend said that he had collided with a skier at full speed and the back of his head had landed on a patch of ice, the skier then disspeared, leaving Gabe on the ground. The next day, Scott went to vist Gabe. The doctor said that Gabe was brain-dead. They would be taking him off life support, and he would be officially dead within ten minutes. Just a few months prior to his accident, he told a family member that he would want all of his organs to be donated. Gabe not only still lives in the memories of his family and friends, he lives on the hearts of lives of fifty other people who are now alive and healthy because of him.

Mr.Oberly's Star

Cynthia was nine eyars old the last summer and she lived next to Mr. Oberly. My Oberly live alone with 25 other cats. One night, Mr. Oberly and Cynthia sat together, watching the night unfold. As the first satr appeared, Mr. Oberly squinted in the sky and said" One of these day, I'm going to climb the star and I'll be able to watch you grow up". Later that summer, Mr.Oberly became ill, and soon he died. Caynthia knew that he had found his star. After Mr. Oberly deaths, his cat refused to sing- except at night, after the first star lit the sky. And when the big star appeared, they sang untill their heart nearly burst.Cynthia knew that it was true : Mr.Oberly was up on his star, just as he wanted.
