Malaysian bus driver Lai Fook Siang,41, pleaded for a lighter sentence after he was sentenced to three weeks in jail and also banned him from driving all classes of vehicles for a period of five years. Because of his carelessness, Madan Rui Yin was dragged beneath the moving bus, and died from multiple injuries 15 minutes later.
