a minor earthquake, measuring 3.2 on the Richer scale struck Pahang on Wednesday. It caused weak tremors in and around Bukit Tinggi. Such tremors have been intermittently felt along the fault line at Bukit Tinggi since Nov 30. Citing meteorological officials, it attributed the seismic activity to the release of stress that has accumulated at the fault line, caused by major earthquake in recent years in Indonesia.
