Fined $3,000 for stealing online game account

In the first court case here involving a stolen virtual world game account, a $3,000 meted out yesterday to a video game enthusiast.Joshua Chua,20, first sold his game account,then stole the account from the buyer before trying to peddle it again.Chua had sold his account for $1,000. He found a buyer, and the two met. The buyer verified that the account have the items he claimed it did, and then changed the account password before paying Chua. The buyer however neglected to change the email adress which was Chua links to the account. Chua noticed this and later request a new password for the account. He then changed the password and the victim was locked out from the account.
