Rachelle did not look forward to her tenth birthday as money was scare. Rachelle complained that how she could wear the same old dress for christmas and her sister said that she could give up asking for a horse, too. Her mother said that she have been saving up, despite being so poor her mother gave lots of food to the walters, their neighbour. Chritsmas morning arrived a couple of day later , to rachelle suprise she unwrapped her present and there was a beatiful new dress inside. They did not realised that their dad have slipped outside and he rode back with her big sister new horse! She was so excitied that she jump up and down is disbelief. Rachelle told her mum how she did that and her mother said that evryone was just helping each other. Dad did some marriage counscelling and the person gave him a new dress for rachelle and Mr jones could not take care of his horse and gave it to them. Rachelle learn that chritmas was about the magic of giving.
